Welcome to Encanto and Skyline Little Leagues.  Our continual goal is to teach our players good sportsmanship, honesty, courage and respect.  Both leagues have served their communities for many years.   We are 2 of 10 leagues in California District 66.  We have one Board of Director’s operating both leagues. 

As with every year we need many volunteers to keep our league running smoothly.  Besides Managers and Coaches, Team Moms or Dads are needed to help coordinate team events.  We need help in our snack bar, with field prep and care, and with general all-around help. 

Every year, we vote on the Board of Directors at our Closing Day Ceremony for the commencing year.  If you would like more information regarding being a dedicated volunteer, let us know at 619-922-1434.   In addition, flyers will be distributed two weeks prior to the end of the season with voting and closing day information.

If you were with us last year, you saw the Padre Replica jerseys we ordered for our Tee Ball through Minor divisions.  We are happy to say that the San Diego Padres are doing this again.   We will provide each child with a shirt and cap.  Players will need to purchase pants, belt, cleats, socks, and glove.

If your child is league age 8 and above, please save your original proofs of residency for the month of February 2022 to January 31, 2023.  If you move after this date, SAVE YOUR DOCUMENTS FROM THE ADDRESS THAT QUALIFIED YOU.  If you have questions on what to save ask now.  If you were with us last year and have moved let us know. 

·      We would like to give you some key information that you will need to put on your calendars.
Registration Dates – December 10^th, 17^th and January 7^th, 14^th, 21^st from 12:00pm –1:00pm at Encanto Recreation Center.

·      Try-outs will be on Saturday, Jan 21^st , with a make up on Feb 4^th. All players trying out must make the tryout to be drafted.  All others will go into a blind draft.  Tee ball and Caps players are assigned to teams – no draft. We will also be doing registration during tryouts.

·      Draft will be February 6^th 6pm (Majors) and February 7^th 6pm (Minors)

·      Opening Day – March 4^th, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. 

·      Coaches Meeting/First Aid – Encanto Recreation Center February 25, 2023 at 10 a.m.

·      Scorekeeping Class – Encanto Recreation February 28, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.

·      Picture Day – March 4, 2023.

·      League Fundraiser – March 18th through April 1^st.

·      Closing Ceremony – June 3, 2023. 

·      Board of Director Elections – June 3, 2023.
